Packaging Design

Packaging that is easy to find on the shelf and easy to tell apart.

For brands launching a product or a full range. We design the pack and product labels, build a system for flavours, sizes or variants, and prepare production files for your printer. Printing can also be arranged through our partners.

Packaging Design

Who it is for

  • A new product or range is close to launch
  • The product gets lost next to competitors on the shelf
  • Customers confuse flavours, sizes or variants
  • Each product in the range was designed separately and they do not look like one family

What it covers

  • Pack design and product range system
  • Product labels
  • Variants: flavours, sizes and editions
  • Arabic and English text on the pack, on one label or per market
  • Production files on the printer's dieline
  • Coordination with the printer and proof review
  • Mass printing arranged through our print partners, when agreed

What you receive

  • Approved pack and label designs for each agreed variant
  • Print-ready production files
  • Range rules so new variants follow the same system
  • Mockups for presentations, listings and launch material

How we work

  1. 01

    Shelf and brief

We look at where the product is sold, what sits next to it and what the buyer must see first.

  2. 02

    Design directions

We present directions on the real pack shape and size, and you choose one with our recommendation.

  3. 03

    Range and variants

We extend the chosen design across variants and agree the text and mandatory information you supply.

  4. 04

    Production files

We place the artwork on the printer's dieline, prepare files to their specifications and review proofs before you approve printing.

What we need from you

  • Product details, the pack type and the dieline from your packaging supplier or printer
  • All label text and mandatory information, reviewed and approved by your team
  • Brand identity files and guidelines
  • The list of variants and markets

Not included in this service

  • Structural packaging engineering: new pack shapes, materials or mechanisms
  • Writing or approving regulatory, nutrition or ingredient information

Quantities, formats, timing and review rounds are set for each project and written into the scope before work starts.

Questions before you decide

Who is responsible for the nutrition and regulatory text?

Your team or your regulatory adviser. We place the text you supply accurately and in a readable layout, but we do not write or approve it against food, health or labelling rules.

Do you arrange the printing, or work with our printer?

Either. We can arrange mass printing through our print partners and follow it, or work from your printer's dieline and specifications and coordinate with them on files and proofs. In both cases, proofs are reviewed before you approve printing.
